Portfolio - Tables

A custom-designed table is a chance to own something unique, something that is designed especially for you, something where quality, functionality, durability and environmental considerations are taken into account at every step of its creation, an object that will last your lifetime and that of your children. Whether it is a large dining table, a desk for your office, or even a small coffee table for your living room, each will be created with the same passion. You can contribute to the details and characteristics of the design as much or as little as you wish, be it the dimensions, the choice of wood, the finish or more.

For me a table gives me a chance to show the wood used at its best. From the raw timber I carefully select the pieces to use. I cut, orient and arrange the pieces to build a balanced surface. The surface is smoothed by scraping and sanding; revealing the wood grain. I take the time to apply traditional finishes to protect the wood, to make the table not only look wonderful, but also feel wonderful.

Please have a look at the following collection of pictures showing some of the tables that I have built for customers.
